The Stone House at Sterling Ridge:A Wedding to Cure the Winter Blues! : New Jersey Wedding Photographers

With pure white snow blanketing the country we thought you could use a splash of color!  Here is our first wedding of the season with Debbie & Ty.  We were so thrilled to see such a loving & affectionate couple.  Debbie got ready with her parents and her four children at the Hilton Hotel in Hasbrouk Heights.  Expert party planner Julie Conley of Warren Country Events was on hand to help the day flow.  Julie is a featured event planner for Whose Wedding is it Anyway? and her work has been seen on one of our other favorite shows Cake Boss! We were so excited to meet her!! For the wintry ceremony Debbie & Ty chose the First Congregational Church in Montclair  with its beautiful architecture and stunning light.  The party then moved on to The Stone House at Sterling Ridge which was a refreshing burst of purples and fuchsias with bright contrasting black & white graphic linens.  One of our favorite bands Mike Kaplan's The Smokin Section layered out sultry horns & vocals for the party.

The Nassau Inn Princeton: Eclectic Charm: New Jersey Wedding Photographers

It's always the nicest compliment to have clients that have worked in the creative fields.  Susan & Jim were just that, with a keen eye for detail and a great sense of fashion.  Susan couldn't quite decide between traditional and eclectic so she had the best of both worlds with two vintage couture gowns.  Jim won us over with his flashy socks and fun funky thick-rimmed glasses that he donned for the reception. Both mothers looked so elegant in traditional gowns, and the flower girls just captured our hearts.  The Nassau Inn in Princeton had such a warm otherworldly charm, it was such an inviting venue.  Dahlia Floral Concepts created a soft, elegant bouquet with velvety lamb's ears and cream roses for Susan.  For the reception this couple choose a more formal sit down dinner with just two long tables to allow guests to talk.  We loved the intimacy of the candle glow from the elegant silver candelabras and the French Provencal floral arrangements with berries & herbs.

Trump National Golf Club Bedminster: A Wedding to Trump! New Jersey Wedding Photographers

The last thing we expected from our delicate blond-haired blue-eyed bride, was to hear that she was a Harvard ice hockey player with a penchant for collecting rubber ducks and Jimmy Choos!  Courtney and her twinkly-eyed husband Brian met at ESPN.  She was the 'girl' in marketing and he was the 'guy' in PR.  Their first date was dinner & a U2 concert!  Almost ten years later this fun loving couple decided to take the leap. Courtney was glowing in a Liancarlo creation from Bridal Couture of Short Hills and silver peep-toed Jimmy Choo's of course.  Her bridesmaids wore one shoulder sheath dresses in a lovely shade of currant by Jenny Yoo of Jenny Yoo NYC.  The ceremony was at Christ Church in Summit NJ.  For the reception nothing else would do but the Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster.  The rolling hills and soft sunset light made a surreal backdrop heightened by bagpipers brought in to welcome the guests.  Jardiniere Fine Flowers of Far Hills created rich wine & gold arrangements and the Essence Band kept the party moving!

Asbury Park Charm: New Jersey Wedding Photographers

I had such a lovely time photographing Joan & Kevin for a family portrait that I was thrilled when they told me they wanted me to capture their July 3rd wedding!  It was simple & elegant and filled with such joy!  Kevin wore a dashing seersucker suit, one of my favorite looks for men at a shore weddding.  Joan look radiant in a delicate gown with petal overlays and classic pearls.  It was wonderful to capture Joan's expressions during the ceremony. One of my favorite caterers Mumfords was on hand for the backyard reception.  It was such fun!! Lynch_7

Bonnet Island Escape: Bonnet Island Estate Wedding Photographers

Jessica & Michael met on holiday in the Bahamas.  She lived in New York; he lived in New Hampshire.  Despite geographical differences they both knew it was love at first sight and two weeks later they had their first date.  It was fitting that the two choose The Bonnet Island Estate on LBI to wed.  The private island escape was such a peaceful backdrop with its lush grasses and wild birds it was as if the couple was still on holiday.

Foire_Jessica_Layout_02Michelle Santanello of MDS Floral Designs made elegant & airy bouquets wrapped in blush silk and sequins.  Hand painted signs led the way to the ceremony.

Foire_Jessica_Layout_03The pre-wedding outfits were just way to cute!

Foire_Jessica_Layout_04Stephanie Somodi of Designs by Stephanie incorporated Jessica's blue & green theme in an elegant design for the invitations, programs, and menues.  Jessica's hairpiece was antique silver with pearl.

Foire_Jessica_Layout_05The bridal gown by Michelle Roth available at Kleinfeld Bridal caught the light so beautifully at every turn.

Foire_Jessica_Layout_17We fell in love with the twobirds bridesmaids dresses, one dress can be worn 15 different ways!  Each girl wore her dress in a different style to complement their shape and they look so so comfortable.  The flower girls were twirling all day long!

The Ritz-Carlton of Philadelphia: Winter Wonderland: Philadelphia Wedding Photographers

With over 20 inches of snow blanketing Philadelphia Sarah & John were warm and cozy at The Ritz-Carlton!  Our stunning bride Sarah was in goods spirits despite the blizarrd.  She looked incredible in her Mori Lee gown which she found at Rienzi Bridal Salon along with her rich brown and red Bill Levkoff bridesmaids dresses.   The Richel D'Ambra Salon & Spa did such an esquistie job on hair and make-up.  They even did Sarah's hair for her first big date with her sweetie John!   Kathy Valdez-Romero of the full service wedding and event planning company Concepts in Bloom created the lush bouquets.  We loved the pussy willow accents. Sarah's grandparents could not have been a more sweet and loving couple.  With 60 years of marriage under their belt they had such beautiful words of wisdom to offer the two love birds.

Kathy of Concepts in Bloom also created the warm and inviting color palette for the reception with amber, chocolate, and rose hues.  For entertainment a high energy rock act The Benjamins were brought in.   They had all of the guest dancing late into the night. The bridesmaids looked like professional dancers!  As a special treat for their guests Sarah & John added a candy bar for their guests.  How sweet!   The Philadelphia night lights just glowed under a blanket of fresh snow.
