Jenny and Parker met at Dickinson College where they lived across the hall their freshman year. They quickly became good friends and sophomore year Jenny asked Parker out. It is easy to see how this couple could fall so deeply in love, they just light up a room every time they look at each other.
For the wedding day they decided on the beautiful Bay Head Yacht Cub in Bay Head, NJ right on the water with a ceremony at Saint Catharine’s in Spring Lake. While the day was gray and stormy these two love birds took everything in stride and didn’t let the dampness quell their romance. Katydid Floral and Event’s Design did an exquisite job with luscious bouquets of apricots and rose color blooms to pair with Jenny’s timeless gown by Sareh Nouri and the gorgeous plum bridesmaids’ dresses by Jenny Yoo. Loose waves pinned up on one side by Ariel Katrina Hair and natural makeup by Christina Dellanno perfected the look of easy elegance.
After a beautiful ceremony at Saint Catharine’s the couple traveled to Bay Head were they headed out on the water for a romantic (and choppy!) boat ride. They arrived at the dock at Bay Head Yacht Club greeted by guests enjoying a cocktail on the deck as the sun lowered in the sky. Katydid crafted a vision for the reception with the help of draping and lighting by Fabrico Productions. Dove gray velvet linens paired with acrylic table numbers and the same apricot and rose blooms as Jenny’s bouquet came together with gold rimmed charger plates and floating candles for a warm, inviting ambiance. The Time Machine Band had every guest on the floor all night!
