Katie and James had such beautiful day in Bay Head for their wedding! Katie got ready at her parents home in Mantaloking, NJ with her maid and matron of Honor and her “ladies in waiting". Her veil was her something borrowed passed from her dear friend Marissa and her gown was a lace Nicole Miller, paired with sexy silver Jimmy Choo heals and classically beautiful hair and makeup by My Cinderella’s dream. Before Katie headed off to the church her ladies shared a champagne toast and celebrated a tradition among their friends of pinning a ribbon to the inside of her gown with all of their initials and wedding dates.
The sweet couple tied the knot at Sacred Heart Church in Bay Head before heading around the corner to visit the ocean. I love the beach in the fall because it feels like your own private shoreline! The blue skies paired perfectly with the girls navy Levkoff gowns and a swift breeze uprighted the borrowed veil momentarily for comedic effect.
Afterwards the bridal party headed to the Bay Head Yacht Club, a watercolor of which graced their custom invites from Invitations Ink in Manasquan. SociaLife Event Planning worked closely with the bride’s new mother in law Brenda who is a florist from Mrs. Morgan’s Flower Shop to create a feel of romance with candlelight and floral in varying shades of cream and blush. Lighting design by Fabric Productions and music by Blake Band made for a fabulous party finished off with a sweet treat from the local favorite Mueller’s Bakery.
