As a fine art wedding photographer, I'm often privileged to witness and document the most exquisite celebrations of love. Recently, I had the honor of photographing Riley and Matthew's sleek, white themed coastal wedding at the picturesque Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club. Set against the backdrop of pristine shores and azure skies, this affair was nothing short of breathtaking.
From the moment I arrived, it was evident that every detail had been meticulously curated to reflect the couple's refined taste and unwavering commitment to each other. The vision for the day was expertly brought to life by the talented team at Square Mile, who seamlessly orchestrated every aspect of the event with precision and grace.
One of the most striking elements of the day was the floral arrangements, skillfully crafted by Katydid Floral and Event Design. Inspired by the natural beauty of the coastal surroundings and the bride’s love of anemones, the blooms exuded an air of effortless elegance, weaving seamlessly into the landscape and enhancing the romantic atmosphere.
As I turned my lens to the bride and groom, it was clear that they were the epitome of modern sophistication. Riley looked radiant in her lace Monique L’huillier gown, the intricate detailing and open back perfectly complementing her natural beauty and the gorgeous full anemone bouquet. Meanwhile, Matthew exuded timeless charm in his Zohreh Uomo tux, a picture of refinement and grace.
Riley and Matthew exchanged vows surrounded by their closest friends and family in Spring Lake at the exquisite St. Catherine’s church. As they promised to love and cherish each other for a lifetime, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. It was a moment of pure, unadulterated joy—a testament to the enduring power of love.
Throughout the day, I was constantly inspired by the play of light and shadow, capturing fleeting moments of beauty and emotion as they unfolded. Riley’s mom surprised the couple with professional illustrators who created keepsakes for the guests and fabulous Paloma’s were filled into mini Patron bottles as escort cards. As the evening drew to a close and the stars began to twinkle overhead, I couldn't help but feel grateful to have been a part of such a special day.
