Lauren and Kevin’s love story started at the shore with a first date on Memorial Day Weekend. It bloomed into evening beach picnics, boat rides and family barbecues. To add sweetness to their story they found out that their families' both had beach houses down the street from each other the whole time! Kevin proposed at Bay Head Beach where they first picnicked and it seemed so fitting for their wedding to be at Bay Head Yacht Club.
Lauren enlisted Danielle Zaleski of Magnolia West Events and Kate Duffy of Katydid Signature Florals and Event Design to plan her day. Fun started the day with pillow fights, monogramed PJ’s and mimosas. Something You and Nuvo Beauty Lounge did the hair and makeup, a sophisticated and fresh updo and natural sun kissed face. A Romona Keveza gown from Kleinfeld Bridal was elegant and came with pockets! The bride paired it with jeweled Badgley Mischka shoes. The girls looked perfect for a boating wedding in their pale blue Amsale gowns from Bella Bridesmaids.
Katydid created lush classic floral arrangements of cream roses, eucalyptus, fabric drapping and hanging gold lanterns that bathed the room in romantic candlelight. Lauren and Kevin departed the ceremony by boat and arrived to the club to be greeted by guests. Brian Kirk and the Jirks brought the fun (as they always do!) and Fabrico Production created fabulous lighting at the Yacht Club.
