This is one of our favorite fall events from our archives. Rebecca & Christopher's elegant white tie wedding was a gorgeous affair. We came in the night before for a few portraits in the park and to capture their rehearsal dinner at a private New York club. The following day their ceremony took place at The Church of The Heavenly Rest and for their reception the couple selected The Metropolitan Club. Rebecca looked like royalty in her delicately embellished Carolina Herrera gown from Mark Ingram Atelier with her heirloom veil. Her silver Jimmy Choo heels and stunning jewelry looked sophisticated with her sleek chignon which hair stylist Jason Quiin of Garren New York perfected. Her bridesmaids look statuesque in slate gray Grecian style column gowns by Amsale Bridal and the groomsmen were dapper in white tie and tails from Baldwin Formals. Expert event planner and florist David Beahm of David Beahm Designs transformed The Metropolitan Club into a romantic English garden vision. Stationary by The Printery of Oyster Bay NY featured a beautiful imprinted monogram and the cake from Soutine Bakery was accented with delicate fresh wild flowers. The Eturnity Band, founded & lead by Antonio Alston, former drummer of James Brown, not only provided amazing vocals but created a full stage show that was spectacular. Milestone Video Productions skillfully captured the epic night on video for the happy couple. I was trilled to commission fellow wedding photographer Marie Papp of Marie Papp Photography to help capture this amazing event.
Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club: A White Tie Affair~New Jersey Wedding Photography
Kelly & Sean met through mutual friends four years ago and enjoyed a Saturday dating ritual of biking from Hoboken to Palisades Park. It was on one of those very dates that Sean proposed under the George Washington Bridge. They wanted an elegant white tie wedding and choose the beautiful Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club for their big day. Kelly looked gorgeous in her fitted La Sposa gown from Wedding Atelier in NYC. She sported an elegant up-do and flawless makeup from MAC in Shrewsbury. For her something borrowed she chose a diamond & ruby bracelet from her mother, while her father proudly displayed her first pair of baby shoes, a reminder of his little girl. Her girls looked stunning in long black gowns by Bill Levkoff paired with asymmetrical green bouquets from Narcissus Florals in Toms River. Sean looked positively dashing in his white tie tux from Hugo Boss as him and his groomsmen shared a celebratory whiskey. The lovely couple entered the grand ballroom, decorated with beautiful orchids, with a serenade of sparklers. The beautiful invites by DB Custom Designs echoed the orchid and green accent theme. The Fuzzpops were amazing and kept the crowd on the dance floor all night!
